TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We wanted to take this opportunity to share some exiting news with respect to the future of Harbor Vue.
We are pleased to announce that, effective June 30th, Kevin Rose (our daughter Erin’s husband) has started working full time at Harbor Vue as a first step in the process of buying into the business and eventually assuming ownership of Harbor Vue.
Kevin has been a part of our family for more than 13 years and was most recently working with Waubetek Business Development Corporation as a Business Development Officer. In addition, he has previously worked with Kenjgewin Teg Educational Institute managing their accredited education programming with Queen’s University.
Although the specific details of this transition are still being worked out, we would expect the deal to close later this summer.
In any event, you will soon see Kevin, Erin and their three children (Brie, Cat and Andrew) moving into the house at the marina and bringing a renewed level of energy to Harbor Vue.
Rest assured, you are in entirely capable hands with Kevin, however, this doesn’t mean we are sailing off into the sunset quite yet. You will still see Stan around for the next few years to help transition the business to Kevin and assist him (and you!) in anyway possible.
Harbor Vue has been a part of our lives for over 30 years and with this change comes a pause for reflection on the success we have had with this business. We could not have done it without the support of our employees and our customers, and for that we thank you.
While we may be transitioning out, we are very excited for Kevin and thrilled that Harbor Vue will stay within our family. Please stop by, say hello, and join us in welcoming Kevin, Erin and their family to Harbor Vue.
